M Photographic and County closer than ever

John Marsden, Stockport CountyM Photographic, run by Stockport County fan Mike Petch, are pleased to announce their continuing relationship with Stockport County Football Club for the forthcoming 2016-17 season, covering all aspects of photography for the Vanarama National League North club.

M Photographic has been involved at County since 2007, and the company is cementing the relationship further by setting up home at Edgeley Park, with office space in the Danny Bergara Stand.

Everything from match action, home and away, to commercial announcements and more will be covered by Mike on behalf of the Hatters.

As pre-season draws to a close, photographic duties will start in earnest with the team’s annual squad photo-shoot this Sunday, followed by a quintessentially English game of cricket in the afternoon. Then it’s down to business with the visit of Alfreton Town to Edgeley Park for the opening fixture of the season on Saturday August 6.

Mike said: “It’s an absolute privilege to continue to work with the team I love, whether it’s the photography itself, the work we put in to social media, the close relationships we have with staff, players and management, or even just helping out around the ground, it continues to be a bit of a dream come true.

“We’re looking forward to being based here at County, and hope it helps cement our relationship for many years to come, I love that we can now call Edgeley Park our ‘home’ too”.

M Photographic also specialise in Motorsport, and cover the British Touring Car and British Superbike Championships for various clients. They also have a growing relationship with Umbro, with both product and action photography included online and in their Teamwear catalogue.  Aside from sport, events, weddings and portraits are also part of their ever growing portfolio.

County Director Jon Keighren said: “We’re delighted that M Photographic will be based at Edgeley Park in the future, bringing Mike even closer to the action. We know the images that Mike provides give us a real advantage in terms of showcasing County through both still and action images, and his work is on a par with many clubs in the Premier League.”
