It’s been a busy month, or so, as we left the football season behind and pushed well in to the motorsport and wedding seasons. Continued work with local businesses including Plasma Clean, Fresh PR and Entertainment Today also adding to a fantastic month.

May began with a wedding at the beautiful Abbey House Hotel in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, then turned quickly back to motorsport as we travelled to Oulton Park for the British Superbike Championship, where Stockport rider Christian Iddon took the Series lead with a pair of podium placings at his ‘home’ track.

We couldn’t hide away from football for long, however, as we volunteered to shoot a charity match at Oldham Athletic, where Paul Scholes lead a team of ‘all stars’ including boxer Anthony Crolla, in aid of #TeamEllis, raising money for Ellis Robinson, who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing the game we love.

Anthony Crolla, Team Ellis, Aside from a quick trip to Brands Hatch, in Kent, for the next round of the BSB Championship, it was on to East Manchester, and the opportunity to shoot International football in the shape of England v Turkey, for Jakob Ebrey Photography. A fantastic experience and a far cry from our regular outings to the likes of Brackley and Gainsborough, with our continued work with Stockport County.

Oulton Park, 21May2016, VSCCWork continues apace with Umbro as we shot more products for the Manchester based sportswear manufacturer, and we look forward to continuing to build and develop our work as the new football season begins.

As June began, the BTCC visited our ‘home’ track, Oulton, in Cheshire, and Speedworks driver Tom Ingram grabbed maximum Independents points to boost his Championship hopes. A 40,000 strong crowd packed in to the parkland circuit in glorious conditions.
